Industrial Laundry
Miller-Remick delivered a fast-track design/build project that renovated and expanded a 68,000 square foot industrial laundry facility. The project included structural modifications, concrete floor reconstruction, new loading dock, offices, employee facilities, exterior resurfacing, new process equipment, main power upgrade, lighting upgrade, steam and natural gas piping, HVAC, and fire protection. Facility operations were maintained throughout the entire project.

Jet Engine Seal Plant
Miller-Remick designed and constructed a 40,000 sq. ft. Jet Engine Seal testing and manufacturing plant. Our team of engineers and construction professionals provided all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and construction services. This facility included a sound proof testing lab, foundations and utilities for heavy industrial machining equipment, and three overhead monorail cranes. The project was complete ahead of schedule which allowed the Owner to meet their manufacturing deadlines.

Cement Plant
Miller-Remick provided design, permitting and construction support for a major cement plant. Our services included Mechanical, Structural and Electrical engineering. We addressed the 20 MVA, 26.4 KV substation and downstream distribution substations, structural supports and modifications and material handling systems. M-R was chosen, on recommendation, because of our strong reputation in cultivating cooperative, team environments with manufacturers, A/Es, contractors, utilities, and the State of NJ Permitting Agency (DCA). This helped M-R to resolve many sensitive issues between these groups leading to the successful completion of the project.

Bottle Manufacturing
Miller-Remick provided engineering and construction management services to construct a 55,000 sq. ft. bottle manufacturing and office complex. Our scope included all permitting, civil, structural, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical distributions and controls.

Bulk Material Handling
Miller-Remick's staff has a long history in the bulk materials handling industry. We have designed major aggregates processing plants involving metal separation, crushing, screening and sizing up to 1000 tons per hour. We have engineered silo storage systems, weigh batching, mixing, and blending systems, belt and pneumatic conveying systems, and dewatering systems. Our material handling experience spans the hazardous waste treatment, cement, power, and process industries.
