Precious Metal Refining
Miller-Remick's precious metal refining experience dates back to 1982, where we were instrumental in the design and construction of a major precious metals refining plant. Since then, we have continued to provide services to this industry. We developed process systems, pilot plants, developed P&ID's, designed major plant infrastructure and utility piping systems, designed structural equipment towers, and designed major electrical and control systems.

Waste to Energy
Miller Remick's staff has significant experience in the waste-to-energy industry. We are currently assisting operating waste-to-energy plants with plant upgrades and retrofit projects. We are addressing material handling, major structural issues, ash conveyance and wastewater management.

Petrochemical
Miller-Remick has over 20 years experience in the petrochemical industry, and we have a successful track record with all of the major refining companies in South Jersey. We developed marine vapor recovery systems, performed process engineering, developed P&ID's, designed major piping systems, designed structural equipment towers, designed fire suppression systems, designed major electrical and control systems, and served as a design-build contractor for plant upgrades.

Flue Gas Desulphurization
Miller-Remick's staff has a long history in the FGD industry. Our engineers have experience in all aspects of the FGD sludge treatment process including bulk material handling and storage, conveying, dewatering, mixing and blending, and emissions controls.

Compressed Natural Gas
Miller-Remick provided professional engineering and construction services for the design and construction of three new CNG fueling stations. The engineering design included process engineering for the design of the 5000 PSI natural gas compressors fuel delivery equipment and safety systems, electrical and controls engineering for the fueling equipment, site power, lighting and alarms, and civil/structural engineering for site work, reinforced concrete footings and equipment foundations, and masonry equipment enclosure. We also interfaced with the utility company to provide natural gas service upgrades to the three CNG sites.
